In particle physics, my interest firstly began in physical analysis, then transitioned to the application of AI/ML methodology. Here list the projects I have participated in.
Post-Refinement of Jet Tagging with Auxiliary-Task Readout
Investigate auxiliary tasks of track-origin and track-pair in a GN2-inspired jet tagging model.Develop refinement models to improve background rejection by reusing auxiliary representations. Analyze scaling behavior with model capacity, training-data allocation, and auxiliary tasks’ readout.
Search for the Higgs Boson Decay to a Pair of Muons with CMS Run 3 Data
Applied and validated the H → μ+μ− event selection on CMS Run 3 data and MC simulation. Reweighted the pμμT distribution and performed an event-by-event mμμ resolution calibration. Evaluated the expected signal significance of ggH and VBF categories using a BDT-based discriminator.
* Presented results twice at CMS Higgs Meeting; results were included in the CMS Analysis Note.
